I am Brian Connon. I have been an avid photographer for close to 30 years. I am primarily a Landscape photographer, but have been know to do other projects as well.

I believe that the image should capture the beauty of the scene while remaining natural, it should not be a heavily processed image, turning it into something that really was not there. While all of my images have been corrected to some extent, they remain true to the captured picture.

For the last couple years I have been involved in photographing the AuSable River Canoe Marathon, which runs from Grayling to Oscoda Mi. the last weekend of July.  The leaders paddle 120 miles, overnight, in just about 15 hours.  All of the pictures of the Marathon are the property of the ARCM, but as you can see in the portfolio page there are many shots from the preliminary races from the last few years.

I hope that you enjoy the site, feel free to look around and if there is anything you may need please feel free to contact me.
